最近の仕事は医療関係書の編集が多くなった。中でも昨年、私が英語で編集し、私の小さな会社で出版（発売は柘植書房新社）した英文書籍「Ivermectin-Testimonilas by Clinicians Worldwide」（イベルメクチンー世界の臨床医の証言）の内容がすごかった。イベルメクチンは日本の大村智北里大特別栄誉教授らが開発、アフリカや中南米の熱帯病を救ってきた薬。大村教授はこの功績でノーベル生理学・医学賞を受賞している。しかし、最近、この薬が注目を集めたのは実は新型コロナへの特効薬だったことを世界各地の医師が証言しているからだ。さらに、イベルメクチンが持つ抗ウイルス、抗腫瘍作用により、がん治療にも非常に有効という論文がいくつも書かれている。そういった新事実を世界１１か国の医師が報告したのが本書で、生々しく衝撃的な内容になっている。アマゾンにあるのでぜひ、お読みいただきたいと思っているが、英語なのでね。日本語版は６月ころに販売の予定です。（石山 永一郎）

Recently, I have been doing a lot of editing work on medical-related books. Among them, the most remarkable one is the English-language book Ivermectin – Testimonials by Clinicians Worldwide, which I edited last year and published through my small company (distributed by Tsuge Shobo Shinsha).

The content of this book is truly astonishing. Ivermectin was developed by Dr. Satoshi Ōmura, a Special Distinguished Professor at Kitasato University, and others. It has saved countless lives from tropical diseases in Africa and Latin America. In recognition of this achievement, Dr. Ōmura was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
